Our Facilities
Historically, funerals were held in the decedents home or where close family members lived. As decades passed and families grew, funerals were moved out of the family home and into a local funeral home. Our funeral home provides all the conveniences of home without being overly pretentious. The decor allows for comfort and function of any type of service your family would desire, whether that be an intimate gathering, a service held outdoors, or services for even the largest of families. Off street parking is assisted by a contract with our neighboring Porter Public Library for overflow parking. For those desiring cremation, we do our cremations right at our facility (West Shore Cremation) on our property, maintaining that sense of dignity for those who desire this service.
In an effort to better serve our families, Jenkins just completed a renovation project of our lighting, restrooms, fireplace room, and main hallway. We are always looking at ways to improve our facilities, as an independent family owned small business we are hands on with every change or upgrade.
