Janet Fair

September 11, 1939 ‐ April 26, 2023

Janet Fair, 83 Loving wife of Gale for 62 years. Dear mother of Ellen Hummel (John), Sara Fair, and Judith Scott (Paul). Caring grandmother of Emily Hummel, Allyson Millott (Patrick), Jessica Quezada (Luis), and Jordan Barber. Preceded in death by her parents Milton and Elsie Taft.

Janet graduated from Lakewood High School and met her husband while working at Lakewood Public Library. Janet was a bus driver for Westlake City Schools and Fairview City Schools, which allowed her to go on field trips with her kids.  Janet was an active member of Westlake United Methodist Church and a member of the Eastern Stars Lakewood chapter.  Janet resided in Florida, loved music, and playing the organ. She was in the hand bell choir for Asbury United Methodist Church in Maitland, Florida for many years. Janet and Gale always enjoyed bowling and square dancing together. She will be missed by many.

Visitations will be held on Thursday May 11^th at Jenkins Funeral Chapel 2914 Dover Center Rd. Westlake from 6-8 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 12^th at 10 am at Jenkins Funeral Chapel.
