I have gotten to know Karen very well over the last several months, through work. We started speaking regularly which was the absolute highlight of my day. She was such a wonderful person to talk to; an amazing listener who gave the most gentle and caring advice.
Often, she would come to me for questions and be over-the-moon thankful and appreciative, of even the simplest advisement. One thing is for certain, this world could use A LOT more Karen Boettlers! Imagine, no war, only peace and love- kindness to all, this includes ALL living beings- she would always tell me, even the creepy crawlies have a right to life. I will take what she has taught and shown me about kindness, and how simple yet powerful it is. Just a kind word, can change your entire day for the better. I hope her family and loved ones, find solace in knowing- she is at peace with all of the four legged friends she had made in the years. She has made more of an impact on this world than you could imagine. I'm forever thankful for having a friend like Karen. Sending love and healing thoughts.
