Steven M. “Beau” Kovachy age 64, passed away on December 25th. Dear brother of Mark Kovachy (Carol). Loving uncle of Hannah McClain (Jasson), Samuel Kovachy (Rebecca), Alexandra Hyland (Pat), Katharine Kovachy, and Bridgette Dunlap (Lenny) and great-uncle of 10. Dear friend of Shannon Kovachy and Jon Presti and his beloved cat Lou. Beau loved playing guitar, was a very talented guitarist and loved 60’s music. He was a true patriot and was an avid follower of politics. Beau always enjoyed traveling first class, exploring the world and was in Alcoholics Anonymous. A Celebration of Beau’s Life will be held Saturday, February 4th at 11 am at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Road, Westlake, where friends and family will be recieved from 10 am until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Berea Animal Rescue, 10015 E River Rd, Columbia Station, OH 44028.

This one hurts to my soul. I knew Beau when we were both much younger. I spent a good deal of time at his house playing basketball, riding a dune buggy , and watching sports. Beau liked basketball but we always knew his passion was playing guitar. Beau had that "it" factor especially when he was playing his guitar. He was the cool dude. He was a great player even at that young age. I will miss you Beau.
