Warren E. Palmer
Birthplace: Detroit, Michigan Resided In: North Olmsted, Ohio

Warren E. Palmer 94, passed away peacefully on December 5th 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 65 years to Carol (nee Lichty). Loving father of Leslie Burnette (Ward) and Wayne Palmer (Beth). Caring grandfather of  Lisa Youssef (Nasser), Matthew  Palmer, and Robert Renz (Lauren). Dear great grandfather of Nicholas, Elizabeth, and Victoria. Caring uncle to many.  Proceeded in death by his parents Gerard and Victoria, sisters Marilyn, Muriel, and Margaret and his brother Edward.

Warren graduated from Lakewood High School in 1947 and soon after that entered the Army where he was a paratrooper. Warren was very proud of his service and the 42 jumps he did as a paratrooper. After he got out of the service he was a car enthusiast and really enjoyed his muscle cars; especially his red, white and blue Corvettes. He worked as a car repair man for many years.

During the summers he would always take the family to their land in Estes Park, CO. He loved his animals and looked up to Dick Goddard in caring for our four legged friends.  He was The Rock of the family and will be missed by all.

In lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made to The Cleveland APL.

In Warren's words SO BE IT!

Wasn't quite done. Unfortunately, something happens, and we stop communicating. I just want you to all know how much those previous times together mean to me. One of my biggest regrets is that we did not meet at Rustic's just one more time. I am glad you had a long life, loving and caring wife and children. Say hello to those who have gone before including the Becks. With All Our Love Ron and Jackie

Carol and family. I have been thinking about all of you and the many good times we shared. There were some many times when both Carol and Warren included Denise and I in family events. When we were little, you took us boating and we all spent the night on the boat. You took us and the kids to lake for the weekend, but I am not sure how we all fit into the car. So much enjoyed picnics, fireworks, playing cards and talking about the animals. We all love animals.

Dear Carol and family,

Very sorry to hear about Warren’s passing. It’s been a long time since we talked but I’ve often thought about you and Warren when I drove down Fitch Rd.
It was an honor to know both of you!

I am so sorry to hear about Warren's passing. Living next door for years I saw his humor and happy personality. He would yell over to me "how's it going kid". I appreciated his love of animals and he did not seem to mind if my one cat, Clancy enjoyed sitting on top of his corvette!
Rest in peace,my neighbor!

Very fond memories of Warren tinkering in the garage as Carol made meals for Leslie and me. I could sense even as a teenager that I was surrounded by very, very special people when i was a guest in the Palmer home. It was clear Warren was a devoted husband and father.
