Gerald S. Sternad, age 87, beloved husband of Marie (nee Pietila) . Loving father of Ted Sternad (dec.) and Ronald Sternad (Patty). Dear grandfather of Rose, Brian and Karen Sternad. Brother of Nancy Murtaugh (Ken) and uncle to Carly, Carson Gauge and Lourie Falcone . Jerry was with the Journeymen Plumbers Union Local No. 55 for 70 years and enjoyed his barbershop choir group. A celebration of life will be held Thursday November 17, 2022 at 10:30 am at Good Soil Lutheran Ministries, 20300 Hilliard Blvd, Rocky River, OH 44116.

Jerry and Marie were the custodians at Our Savior's, now Good Soil, when I started here 7 years ago. I will always remember Jerry's sweet disposition. I relied on his knowledge of the building for many years until he and Marie retired. Prayers to Marie. Take comfort that Jerry is resting in the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. He has seen the face of the Father and has heard the voices of the angels singing their praises.
