Betty Heckerman Clifford, born in Westlake, Ohio, on March 17, 1931, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2022, at the age of 91. Betty and Robert Clifford (deceased) met while attending Dover High School and married on August 19, 1950. They celebrated 70 years of marriage before Bob passed away in 2020. Betty is survived by her four children, Robert Clifford (Becky, deceased), Bonnie Moorman (David), Becky Benson (Thomas), and Lisa Knudsen (Thomas), 18 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. She was a life-long member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Westlake, Ohio, and enjoyed cake decorating, knitting, sewing, gardening, and camping.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 24th, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 27993 Detroit Road, Westlake. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul Lutheran School for tuition assistance or to Hospice of the Western Reserve.

I grew up knowing Betty and Robert my whole life and even later in life she made sure to greet me when she saw me going into the church on Sunday. I never remember her not to have a smile on her face. Betty was a prime example of a child of God. May her rest in peace being now with Robert and God.
