Ursula V. Schilens
October 08, 1927 ‐ June 02, 2022

Ursula V. Schilens (nee Schneider), age 94, entered into eternal life on June 2, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Arthur; Loving mother of Mary Owad (the late Brian), Ann Sebold (Richard), Evelyn Parque (Paul), Roberta Miller (Jerry), and Linda Cochran (Kevin); Cherished Grandma to Lisa Owad (Andrew Korner), Emily Sevits, Evan Sevits, Dana Paterson (Colin), Jerod Miller, Ricky Sebold and Derek Sebold (Patty); Dearest Great Grandma to Savannah, Daniel, and Taylor; Devoted Sister, Aunt, and Friend to many. During her life, Ursula was a loyal servant of God and her Catholic faith, with a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. In healthier times, she was an avid gardener and golfer. Always a lover of nature, she enjoyed the outdoors. Ursula was also known by her family to be a quietly competitive champion of Rummy, Bingo, Bocce Ball, Cornhole, and Croquet. Ursula will be missed by many, but Heaven has gained a true winner.
A Funeral Liturgy celebrating Ursula’s life will take place on August 12, 2022, 11:00 AM, at St. Ladislas Catholic Church, 2345 Bassett Road, Westlake, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve or to The St. Vincent de Paul Society of Cleveland.
