Genevieve Esgar (nee Miller), age 94, passed away June 20, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, sister Adair, and brother Lincoln. Gen graduated from Westlake High School (Class of 1946). She attended Stevens College in Missouri and graduated from University of Michigan. She worked as a mathematician at NASA in Cleveland where she met her future husband, Jack. They were married in 1971 and resided in North Olmsted. She is survived by her sister Janet of Traverse City, MI, brother-in-law Russ Arner, of Brunswick, OH and step-daughter Colleen Walker of Sun Lakes, AZ. Gen was active in spinning, weaving and basketry groups and was an avid gardener. She was a volunteer at Frostville for many years. Private Family Services.

I wish to extend my sympathy to Janet, Russ and all of Gen's family. I've been a caregiver for Gen and Jack for 9 years. GG for over 6 years. GG and I have given the best care we could to keep Gen happy and comfortable in her own home. We would especially like to commend her brother-in-law, Russ, for always being there for her. We will miss Gen and may she rest in peace.

Miss Miller, then Mrs. Esgar, was our Dad's favorite secretary at Lewis Research Center. She & Jack remained valued friends for many years.
