Judy Kay Ciscell (Arnaiz) Judy was born on June15, 1948 in Los Angeles County, California. Second child of Leora Arnaiz (Jones).

Judy enjoyed working with friends at her jobs Her favorite job though was being a mom, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her children Darrel Ciscell (Tina) (Greenfield TN), Kimberly Gugat (Ciscell) (Pennsboro WV) and Michael Ciscell (Lisa) (Greenfield TN), Timothy Richard Ciscell (deceased) and Jason Wayne Ciscell (Deceased). Judy was preceded in death by her two youngest sons Timothy and Jason. Judy has 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Judy was preceded in death by her grandson Christopher Lee Ciscell (Greenfield, TN). Family friend of Phillip Gugat.

After the loss of her son, Jason, Judy relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. Judy cared for the children of a family friend. They were twins and they had heart monitors. It turns out Judy lost her heart to those 2 young girls and their sister. During her years in Cleveland Judy would help raise her own grandchildren and many more that came to call her Granny.

Having struggled with breathing issues for most of her life Judy was put on the Lung Transplant List at the Cleveland Clinic. “How would you like to try on a new pair of lungs”, they said. That was the call she got when it came her time. Transplanted on January 31, 2003, Judy had 2 brand new lungs. Mom was blessed and extremely grateful for her new life. God gave Judy and her family 18 great years.

Family and friends will be received from 4-7 pm on Thursday, January 13 at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Road, Westlake.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Lung Transplant Program, PO BOX 931517, Cleveland, 44193.

Granny would want you all to know she loved you. She will miss you and please don’t forget the Mt Dew.

My condolences and thoughts to all of Granny's loved ones and friends.

I actually never knew her name as I only ever heard her granddaughter, Tatiana, refer to her as Granny.

Sorry for your loss. I’m grateful she came into my son’s life. He loved her like his own grandma. May Judy rest in heaven with the rest of her family. You now have an angel watching you.
