If feels strange for me to call Patricia anything but Nana. That’s who she was to me. She looked after and cared for us like we were part of her family. Many years ago, we would invade her home, take over her space, and she would do nothing but treat us with the most delicate kindness, compassion, and care. With tremendous strength, she showed us what unconditional love and patience meant. She made a lasting impression on me, and I am sure many others in a similar situation.

I feel very privileged to have spent time with her. She will forever be remembered and missed. Thank you, Nana!

My deepest condolences to her real family. Her love for you was evident to any and everyone who met her. Im sorry for your loss.

Your sweet tea was amazing, even though it was only regular somehow made it magical to every kid you poured a drink for. So many kids you warmly welcomed into your home, even though there were so many there already, there was always room for more. You had the biggest heart. The world will not be the same without you, and hopefully everyones lives you touched has taken a piece of you with them to pass down to further generations. You were the definition of selfless unconditional love. You will be missed. My heart breaks for your grandchildren and great grandchildren, and all of those to come.
