James L. Hamilton, age 69. Beloved husband of 47 years to Barbara (née Danko). Loving father of Evan (Gina) and Victoria (Michael) Everett, Dearest Papa of Elizabeth, Andrea, Ryan, Madison, Rachel, Alexis, Natalie, and Brooke. Brother of Dale (Deborah). Preceded in death by his parents Evan and Ruth. James was in the Westlake Town Criers, Masonic Lodge, a private practice attorney for 40 years, a real estate broker, avid outdoorsman and traveler. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 7 starting at 1:00 pm at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Road, Westlake with a Memorial Service to immediately follow at 2:00 pm. In lieu if flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the Salvation Army of Greater Cleveland 2507 E. 22nd Street Cleveland, Ohio 44115

    My world is a far better place for having had the best uncle I could have ever dreamed of.  I will miss him so much for the rest of my life.  No one could tell a story or a joke like him, and his charm and wisdom and grace will be some of the things I will miss the most.  I am so grateful and privileged to be his family member and join all who knew him in my grief and sorrow.
