Ruth E. Thompson age 89 of Westlake, Ohio, passed away June 6, 2012 and was interred at Sunset Memorial Park. Married to Roy Thompson Jr. (deceased) , She was the mother of Cheryl Harris, Jill Jones, Harley Thompson, Vicki Thompson and Janice Robinson.; grandmother of Kim Dunlap, Curt Harris, Trent Harris and Ryan Jones. She had 11 great grandchildren. Ruth was a beloved community altruist and talented musician. A celebration of her life will be held at Dover Congregational Church 2239 Dover Center Road Friday Aug. 31 , 2012 at 11:00 am.
