Patricia L. Gell, 80, a resident of Wesleyan Meadows of Sheffield Village went to be with her Lord and husband on January 25h following a short illness. She was born April 18, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to Robert Morris and Florence Pierce. Patti was a member of Westlake United Methodist Church where she was very active with Stephen Ministries. She was a retired high school English teacher at Westlake High School and up until her passing volunteered at Porter Library, Fairview Hospital, an usher at Playhouse Square and was a Stephen Minister. She was an avid reader and loved traveling. Survivors include her son Jeff (Debbie) Gell of LaGrange, OH and George Gell of Seattle, WA, granddaughter Melanie (Jordan) Schmitt of Wellington, OH, Joshua (Rachel) Gell of LaGrange, OH and a brother Bill (Winnie) Pierce of Newport, NC. She was preceeded in death by her husband George, her parents and brother Robert. Funeral Service Saturday January 28 at 11:00am at Westlake United Methodist Church, 27650 Center Ridge Road Westlake, Ohio 44145 where visitations will be held from 9:00am until service time on Saturday.
