Sarah (Sally) Jane Marsh (nee Cohlhepp), 88. Wife of the late Robert F. (Bob), mother to Bob Jr. (Christine) and Patty, grandmother to Abigail and Elizabeth Marsh. She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers, 3 sisters and many beloved friends. Sally volunteered for the Amry during WWII, being one of the first women in the country to serve in the Womens Army Auxiliary Corps, stationed in the Pacific Arena. While in service she obtained the rank of sergeant and was awarded three bronze stars for meritorious service. Upon return from the war she attended college in PA and then traveled throughout the US. She returned to the Cleveland area, married and raised a family. Her voluntarism continued with time given to St Christopher's Parish (Rocky River) and Sacred Heart Parish in NC. At her request, Sally's body was given to medical research but a service and celebration of her life will take place Monday, June 29 at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Rd., Westlake at 10:30am. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN
