Annual Golden Valentine Dance

Then Annual Golden Valentine Dance held annually the Saturday immediately preceeding Valentines Day.  The dance is for couples who have been married for 50 years or more and is held at Wagners Country Inn.  We feature the sounds of the Bell-Aires and several stations for light faire.  There is no cost for attendance at this function, a gift from Jenkins Funeral Chapel to those couples who have achieved this wonderful milestone.  The date for our 12th Annual Valentines Dance is February 12, 2011 at Wagner's Country Inn.  Couples are invited from the communities of Westlake, Bay Village, North Olmsted, Rocky River, Fairview Park, Avon, Avon Lake and North Ridgeville. 

Rememberance Tree

Our Remembrance Tree is held at the funeral home close to the Christmas Holiday.  The memorial program is held at the funeral home to memorialize those families of decedents during the past year.  There is a breif refection given, songs that are sung and cookies to share.

Veterans Day

Jenkins Funeral Chapel honors the service that all our veterans have given for our freedoms.  We annually have a special program to recognize Veterans on Veterans Day and sponsorship of the WWII Veterans Memorial in Washington DC.  May God continue to bless our veterans and our men and women serving in so many places around the world to protect our freedom. 

WHBS TV Scholarship

We provide scholarships annually as Seniors graduate from Westlake High School in the WHBS Television production company.  Presented by Anthony and Joanne Hoty to their deserving and hard working students.  Tony and Joanne will be retiring from the WHBS TV this year and we send our love and best wishes for the many years of service to our community.  Their countless hours of dedication to their students will be missed. 

Golf Events

Jenkins Funeral Chapel are proud sponsors to numerous charity golf events over the summer months.  The photograph below is of the wining team at the St. Ladislas Golf Outing, benefiting the community of St. Ladislas Parish, Westlake.  We are also a Silver Sponsor of the West Side Catholic Center annual golf outing, to benefit the less fortunate, homeless, abused and hungry of our area.
